PPG Industries will showcase its coatings products for the marine and offshore industry at this week’s Australasian Oil and Gas (AOG) Exhibition in Perth, Western Australia.

Focus will be on PPG products PITT-CHAR XP coating, a dual-performance cryogenic spill-protection coating that protects against extremely high and low temperatures in marine and industrial environments, and SIGMASHIELD 880 coating, a two-component, abrasion-resistant, multipurpose epoxy primarily for use in offshore splash-zone maintenance.

“Over the past few years, PPG has built up a strong track record in the offshore sector as well as the petrochem market,” said Donald Le, PPG offshore segment manager, protective and marine coatings (PMC). “AOG gives us an opportunity to talk to our customers in the vitally important Australasia region about our capabilities and demonstrate the benefits of our premium products firsthand.”
